Hello guys.. been so long since i last posted in this blog.. Been busy with sch work.. But now, no more. COZ I'm FINALLY DONE WITH SCHOOL! i'm a fresh diploma graduate.. :P so now lots of free time to blog again.. so yeah.. look out for that..
Anyway, so i went back yesterday and saw the band. Not BAD la.. to me i tink the choice piece is quite exciting to hear.. Vast improvement since i heard the band during the concert last year.. Euphoniums good as usual.. keep it up.. French horns sounded so much better.. more rounder.. Bassline is good.. My only concern, the band might rush.. coz that day i notice the band was slightly faster than the conductor.. Hmmm.. Oh and that some clarinetist might squeak... Other than that, i'm quite happy with the band..
On the comp day, VERY2 important advice...
- RELAX!!! cannot be nervous.. treat it like another band prac giving in ur best shot..
- Dont stare at other bands.. this is not outdoor.. dun need to stare2.. hahah! Unless u see a pretty band girl in nice sexy short skirt... Err.. ok forget i said that..
- When the result is announce, dont get too excited.. ( if its good result that is) yes, can be happy2.. but dun overdo it.. its really not a pretty sight.. Trust me, i was present at the previous indoor comp and some bands were just irritating with all that jumping ard like monkeys from one end to another.. gosh..
- And if the result is bad *touch wood*... dont go bursting into tears like babies.. try to control.. i saw some awful sights of girls crying BADLY... not a good image for tha band la.. Be strong! TK is a strong band..
- Oh, and try not to empty saliva.. not a nice sight.. if die2 have to.. try to do it discreetly..
- And lastly, Enjoy what you are playing! its gonna be a great experience... so treasure every minute of it..

BTW, me and wanlin will try to be there for the band comp.. weiee still considering... so u guys have out support...
