Nice to see most of us back again. Too bad we the dmd members have never gotten full attendance for dunno-how-long. When will that be? Unfortunately, I hate to say this, but its not gonna be on 3 December 2008.... coz I won't be around for that. Another major bummer. Edited on 31 July 2008 in Italics: Maybe 3 December 2008 (TK Band In Concert 2008)?
Meanwhile, we did take photos, didn't we? Waiting for them... I think we took more than what I have received...
If anyone still remembers about the mention of having a BBQ/etc. in around December this year, i may be able to attend so long as it is a weekend, AND I don't have duty on that day or the day after the BBQ of course....
Hoping for all the luck that all of us need...

When I found out that tkband's gonna go KL for competition about 2 weeks ago, i was surprised and delighted.
Such an opportunity is one that my batch (and a few before/after) can only ever dream of (especially after terrorism threats made headlines). For the record, batch 2004 only went as far as Sentosa (oops) for a post-season celebration. I thought that this Outdoor 2008 season was going to be a short one for us, now that is so wrong. I'm glad that we now have bigger "projects" to deal with, even if it means taking a step at a time. The only concern that we can have is that having to end this so late, we probably have to struggle a lot more to cope with the academic load that is huge towards the end of the year. Especially the current Sec 4s, hopefully you can manage to strike a balance with the busy schedule that no other batches (for a long time) have dealt with, even though there was NDP for my time too but i would rather say that my schedule then might be more of a "it came close" rather than comparable.
I'm definitely bummed that I won't be personally there at KL to support u guys, even if most of u dun even know who I am. but i'll stay (stuck) here hoping and praying for the best. and i also hope that you can gain a lot more experience with the opportunities people like me can only dream of back in the good old days. in the end, the thing that matters the most in significance and stays in your memories for the rest of your life, is the journey.
Reach for the moon, and at the very least, you'll hit the stars.
see you guys soon.

hello everyone!
i'm making a sudden appearance here because 2 days ago... as i was watching the 4th of july fireworks in USA.. they were playing all the band pieces/marches that we once played. and those pieces just simply reminded me of the times back in tkband..
i kinda teared a bit during the fireworks.. partly cuz it was very beautiful.. and mostly because i missed everyone back at home. the band pieces/marches kinda evoked a lot of emotions out of me..
at that particular moment, i kinda missed u guys A LOT.. and i also feel that god has been so gracious to us so as to let us remain the most united section ever in tkband history. never had any other sections return to tk so regularly and has gathering so often. of course credits must be given due to faizal, charlene, ash wan lin and peilin to organize all the events and keep everyone in touch with each other... not forgeting me who's always missing. opps. ahaha.
well.. i heard from Mr Siao that u guys went back again recently.. and that there'll be a homecoming for alumni this 26th july.. i'll be back just in time for that.. and hope i can see everyone there!
i'll always keep in mind that.. we are. the one and only tk euphonium. no other people can replace this unique identity.. i hope u guys will treasure this too.
i hope im not too emo here... will still stay cool.. and see u all back in singapore!
love
