Hey guys,
First of all, many thanks to Ash, Fai, Lishan, Pl and Weiee for the live telecast. Thanks to Ash who kindly allowed me to use his mobile for this special event and thanks to the rest of the ppl for filling up the time over the duration of the call esp weiee who gave all sorts of constructive comments hahaha
Alrighty, its just moments after i know the results. Although I am kinda disappointed and sad, I think that it is just too bad that we didnt win. As Faisal said, it was a tough fight, so i guess who wins this competition may just come down to the judges' personal preference of the band's style (I am sure that TK and Deyi still have quite different styles). In addition, I am not sure whether the judges this year are the same as the ones who use to do the judging in the previous years. If they are different, that may be one of the factors as well.
I am sure Deyi worked really hard for these long awaited titles and I guess the yearn to win is really what motivates them to work so hard. Nonetheless, I am sure all the other bands worked really hard as well (esp TK band members put in heaps of effort into this competion, sacrificing time spent with family and studies).
A true champion never gives up. He will take the lost as a motivation to improve himself and thrive to reach the goal (wahaha does this phrase sound familiar?). This is how Deyi finally won after so many years.
So if any current members are reading this, I hope you are feeling better now. Dmd members reading this, thank you for listening to me nag wahaha. But I think whatever is mentioned above applies to general things in life as well. haha
I am so not in a very good situation myself and I am still trying to find my way out hopefully soon [I dun wanna get kick out of vet school :( ]
Cant wait to go home wahaha miss everyone back there.
